Open Bar

Open Bar
What is the best choice at an open bar?

If I pay a fixed amount to attend an open bar event, what alcoholic drinks should I order to get the most value? In other words, what drinks generally cost the most per serving?

Anything top shelf of course costs more.. ordering Crown Royal, Absolute, ect instead of Well brands, providing they offer call brands. Ordering drinks that also utilize cordials such as Bailey’s Irish Cream, Amaretto ect involves both Top shelf and the cordial. Go all out and drink nothing but Long Island Ice Tea’s, just request it to be top shelf..

Snow Patrol are frequently compared to Coldplay in the press, which seems strange as they write far better songs and do not appear to be quite so self-hating, nor as rich. Their delightfully dour little pop songs do touch on the melancholic side of things, but the lyrics are wonderfully slice-of-life descriptions. Singer/lyricist Gary Lightbody gives a shout-out to Sufjan Stevens when on the punch…

For much of this album, his 16th in 26 years, Hiatt reunites with his best band, the Goners, and takes a giant leap back to his still-hungry days as a jag-edged, Costello-esque rocker while hewing to the soulful, blues-based songwriting he perfected on 1987’s Bring the Family. The withering pub rock of 1979’s Slug Line–as well as a nod to fallen hero Dale Earnhardt–seeps into the title t…
