How much ground do the citronella candles cover?

I went to walmart and bought two tiny candles that have 1% of citronella and the brand is lamplight farm, but how much area do these really cover from bugs?

Yeah, they are pretty much worthless when it comes to being a mosquito repellent. The OFF brand mosquito pads/candles work pretty well.
